"It's... a roller-coaster ride"
Isn't that one of the most generic things you can say about a movie that you wish to promote or express a love of? It usually refers to popcorn, blockbuster flicks, too, which can hardly be said of this one. This is the documentary on the DVD of Slumdog Millionaire. It consists of behind the scenes footage, interviews and clips of the film. We get insights into how working in India is, Boyle's directional style and energy, and a few cultural differences... like the fact that the slums there are completely different from those of the West, much more dynamic(hence the picture's pace, evidently) and full of life. It's cool enough, if I can't claim that the actors themselves seemed to have charisma when candid, just like they were when performing. The Danny and Simon are rather interesting to listen to, though, and this is reasonably informative. It's well-edited and all in all, satisfactory for those who want a making-of production on this particular subject. Other than some disturbing content, there isn't really anything offensive in this. I recommend this to anyone who likes the feature. 6/10
