The hunt is on for the killer, Jack has a score to settle with Ryan.
Part one did at least have some action, it's years since we've seen Jack pull some moves, sadly none of that here.
What on Earth went wrong here, I love Silent Witness, I can think of only a few poor episodes from the how's past, but none of them compare to this, this was shocking. The most uninteresting plot I can remember, blank characters, and almost no Nikki, even Jack's story just didn't quite work. Absolutely all over the place, this was an incoherent mess.
Simone, I'm sorry but the acting here is very, very questionable, as I said previously, I'm hoping she settles down, but this wasn't good at all. I still have to question why Adam was written out so quickly, he was fantastic.
The acting unfortunately was generally, let's be polite here...... uninspiring, Lorraine Ashbourne being the one shining light, they could definitely take some tips from her. Miss Lloyd, I have no words, absolutely no words.
Why on Earth was Jack wearing his Christmas jumper? It just seemed like another nail in this episode, it felt as though nobody cared here, about anything other than diversity. Everything was telegraphed, I couldn't wait for it to end.
It pains me to say this about an episode of one of my all time favourite shows, but this was pathetic, 3/10.
