Such a tough scene seeing eren's reaction from being a mad man to actually realizing just what he has done to all these people and losing one of his original comrades. And then the ending starts playing and wow that hurt. Hats off Mappa.👏🏻

Even without much action, one of the best episodes of the series

I think that AOT has the best dialogue driven episodes out of all animes. This is an episode packed with emotion, character acting and it was executed really well thanks to the storyboard. Animation was fluid as heck at some points, glad to see Mappa's real potential in display even with the time restraints. A wonderful, but sad closure to the Marley war arc.
The Greatest Show of All Time!

Out of the 67 Episodes of Attack of Titan so far 51 of them are rated 9 or above (76%).
5 Episodes are rated 9.9 and 2 Episodes are rated a perfect 10.0. (Both world records).
And the crazy part is that it has at least 3 more episodes with the potential of achieving perfect 10.0 ratings. I still can't understand how in general it's rated only 8.9, I hope it reaches at least 9.5 soon. It's simply a masterpiece. One of the greatest stories ever written. I don't know if we will ever see such perfection on our screens ever again. What a time to be alive!
Perfect Adaptation of the episode

Sasha's death was shocking and emotional in the manga - yet the way they adapted it in the anime was even better. It was more shocking, more emotional. The OST choice and sound direction was spot-on. The animation has gotten better as well. Thank you MAPPA.
Thank you Mappa

This episode truly transcended AOT to a different level.
It really shows the vicious cycle of hate and violence and how your beloved character may be killed abruptly. A true wake up call for all of us in the "real world" on how we treat each other.....
And a big thank you to MAPPA!!

Attack on titan is leagues above so many anime it's crazy. I've seen over 300+ but Aot still manages to be in the top 3 if not 1 best anime I have ever seen. This anime deserves all the hype. Anybody who noticed all the parallels, understand both sides and the story can all agree that Aot is up there in one of the best anime of all time. We are watching Classic in the making.
I cried

Even though no one was really suspecting anything to happen, the tension was really built up leading to the final scene of the episode. Another 10/10 episode to add to the holy quartet the Marley arc has provided us.

I love this show, every single thing about it. I love the action, the lore and most importantly, the characters... especially, Sasha. Sasha and Hange have been my favourites since their initial introductions and this episode dealt a big blow to my emotions by taking one of them away. I can't even be mad because the show is so tightly and emotionally written that I adore it even when it rips my heart from my chest. I think out of the previous 4 or 5 episodes, this is the best. Sure, we've had action this season and it's been incredible, but this is the one that really hit me from all sides, each character and their motivations are so well crafted that I no longer know who is good and who is evil or if such thing exists but Sasha... in the words of your killer, "You were one of the good ones." 10/10

This is just beautiful

Gabi's monologue was just beautiful. It just shows how different perspectives, different lives and point of views, can completely alter the way we as flawed humans see the world. This is a beautiful metaphorical representation of religion, politics and social structures. Whenever we forget how this shows has a much bigger picture, they just throw in a perfect scene with a perfect soundtrack reminding us of the sophistication of the plot. It was also beautifully sad.
Another tier episode
