Wow what a fantastic finale!

I have grown up with this show and I remember how I would enjoy each episode of Arthur I saw. Even though it was bittersweet to have to say goodbye to all the characters, what a finale it was and what a show it was. Congrats to the makers of this show. You have made a great show!

Goodbye Arthur

Really will miss this series having grown up with it for years. This show had meant a lot for not just me, but other people as well.

In all that time, the series had taught the populace many things such as teamwork; honesty; and community. It had also tackled serious issues such as cancer; 9/11 through the lens of a school being caught on fire; Alzheimer's, and Asperger's, something that I have myself. The show treated these topics with such tenderness and gentleness, it was a perfect way for kids to learn about these important things that they will be learning as they become adults.

Through its ups and downs, the show will stand as one of the most influential.

It's a Wonderful Kind of Day

After 25 years, we say goodbye to the beloved aardvark. Arthur was a part of my 90's childhood. What set it apart was its willingness on a regular basis to tackle serious topics that most kids' shows wouldn't, and in a fair and entertaining manner.

I don't watch Arthur much anymore, but I absolutely had to tune in for the finale. And I loved it. The cameo by Marc Brown himself, Michael Yarmush the original voice of Arthur returning to voice the adult version, and finally coming full circle to the first episode, "Arthur's Eyes". They couldn't have ended it on a more perfect note.

Thank you to Marc, to the cast, the writers and crew, for all the wonderful memories.

let's get along with each other

Some of the more negative reviews of this episode make it seem like the worst thing to happen to the show. I'll be more level-headed.

I'm so glad that Arthur concluded, this show means a lot to me on a personal level I can't describe without writing out a whole essay on it.

This episode, to me at least, was very underwhelming as an Arthur fan. The big conclusion of 25+ years of Arthur, leading to this. No show is ever gonna live up to those expectations, but the audience is only treated to a small reveal towards the end of the show (added to what is basically your typical Arthur episode).

What I have to say is, thank you, Arthur. For everything. Go into this episode with a more stable mindset than "the finale of 25+ years of TV" and more like "let's have another wonderful kinda day" and you'll enjoy it more.

Horrible ending to a classic show
ThunderKing614 November 2023
I finally after years I finally got to see this episode and it was badly underwhelming.

The first time I watched Arthur was in a school library in about grade 1 or 2.

November 14th 2023rd.

What is the final episodes of Arthur about?:

Buster talking too much and the crew see their potential future.

The story and the production overview:

The final episode should have been 1 full episode. It was really underwhelming. A lot of characters were not seen. It was just a hash episode and as a finale.

It's so sad that I spent years watching and falling asleep to Arthur after coming from school, and the way they end such a nostalgic show felt disrespectful.

They also had a vicious dog chase Muffy for no reason. It wasn't funny.

Highlight:

None. Both episodes were not top Notch.

Moral:

Don't be a blabbermouth

Rating:

Hash!

Final words:

A horrible ending.

Arthur really did die when they changed their animation style. After that, it was down hill. Nevertheless, Arthur was with me through grade 1 to even high school. It's great to see it go, at the same time sad because the episode was hash.
