Halstead

Good episode. Little bit predictable at the end. Voight's conversation with Jay was very well done.

Finally good episode in season 8!

Episodes like these make chicago pd great show. I love that there was more Voight screen time even if this was episode about Halstead. I hope we will have more episodes like that this season when Voight's team break some rules to get justice or break some rules to do the right thing.

Always nice to see familiar faces

The episode itself was one of the better ones of this season.

But it really was nice to see Lawrence Gillard JR. (D'Angelo Barksdale of -The Wire-). Brought back memories

Warning: Spoilers
Well-written episode. I was wondering at the end if Jay would arrest him or let him get away with it, but I would have to admit that a little part of me wished he'd let the father walk.

This is enough

Chicago PD had some good seasons in the beginning... and then they started to hop on the PC, etc wagon making it evermore unbelievable as a procedural series, as it was in the beginning years. I dont want my series to be absurdly one sided and/or trying to make me believe the world is something that it is not. One more series that is way past it's due date and that should have been ended long ago. I should have stopped watching long ago when the first signs of scenario mold started to appear, but then you want to give them the benefit of the doubt... pity that something that could have been remembered as an excellent series falls from its stand.
