Wow. What was Stephen Dillane doing in this turkey?
A leaden plot conflating election rigging(Trumpian), Scottish Independence and a ludicrously cast bunch of unconvincing actors( Kobna Holbrook -Smith is the standout miscast character.)
Dillane is always watchable and his daughter in the part as a passed over section head( by her father) is actually plausible as played by Lydia Leonard . However, her Danish nemesis as played by Victoria Sonne is abysmal.
Additionally all the cliches are rife. The Prime Ministers wife , fashionably part of a mixed race marriage is wise beyond words while the PM character is typecast as a Tory wet( maybe not unrealistic!)
The action scenes are equally implausible with the trope of 60kg women repetitively knocking out bodyguards/ Mi6 officers et al. When will script writers of a persuasion drop the pretence of trying to make something believable.
Definitely unwatchable.
