I always thought that people in the past were kind and simple, but after reading Lao She's works, I found that people are still like that. It's really like the Eight Immortals crossing the sea, each showing their own abilities. Some people cheat and do all the bad things, while others are kind and upright, but there is no good end. Bad people and bad things happen every now and then, and good people and good things are not without them. In short, in that society, living is not easy anymore, everything should be done slowly. There are too many people who are slippery tongues and have a chicken thief's heart.
