Like the name suggests, Bretherton is an exterminator who used to serve the Shreveport-Bossier metropolitan area as the proprietor of Vexcon Animal and Pest Control in Benton, La but has since moved up north for personal reasons. However, that has not made him less interesting to reality TV show viewers, as shown by the fact that there is now a seventh season of Billy the

Question: You have your own A&E show now, but this isn't the first time you've been on an A&E show. Tell me about when you were on "Billy the Exterminator," featuring fellow Louisiana resident Billy Bretherton and his brother, Ricky.
Willie Robertson: We came up with the idea for them to exterminate our duck blind. They got all concerned about the snakes, but they forgot about the wasps. Ricky showed up, walked face first into it. We were laughing, but he's allergic to that. Billy was freaking out, and they had to leave and go to the hospital. It's funny, when I told the people at A&E, they didn't realize it was us.
Question: What do you like best about running your duck-call business?
Willie Robertson: I always say, I get to live out a man's fantasy. We don't cut our hair; we don't cut...

Squirrels and skunks can be nasty, and they can certainly put up a fight. But an eight-foot alligator? That's a much bigger problem to get rid of. That was Billy Bretherton's assignment on 'Billy the Exterminator' (Tuesdays, 10Pm on A&E), as he had to capture an alligator at an Atv park, as much for its own safety as that of the riders who might accidentally ran it over.
Bretherton noted that hundreds of kids ride at the park every weekend. "To make matters worse, the water is pitch black, making it impossible to see which part of the gator's coming our way," he said. "This is insanely dangerous."

In an episode that couldn't help but remind us of 'Caddyshack,' 'Billy the Exterminator' (Tuesdays, 10Pm on A&E) had to clear a varmint off a golf course. Except this time, it wasn't a gofer, but an armadillo who was terrorizing the golfers ... or at least the greens.
Things didn't start out well for Billy Bretherton. He couldn't get out of his own way, and was fumbling with his traps and just not feeling well. "This day is turning into a nightmare," he said. "I'm sick. I'm tired. My equipment's not working. Right now, I've just got to stay professional and complete this job."
