First watched this gem in the 1979-80 school year, and it has stuck with me all these many decades later. Finally found it online and watched for the first time in about forty-four years! Wonderfully dated, yet still-relevant product of the mid 1970's. Illustrates the challenges and prejudices faced by students with disabilities, as well as those growing up in difficult socioeconomic circumstances. Highlights the importance of making personal connections despite our differences. I believe it was shot in Toronto, but it has a familiar feel for those who grew up in the U. S during this time period. If you're looking for a little harmless and kinda sweet video time travel, check this one out. Thank you to the person who uploaded this obscure but beloved (by me, lol) after school special type film!
