When Eazy-E is confronting Jerry at the kitchen table, the original theatrical release contains an editing error. Jerry says "I always had your back," and Eazy-E replies. The exact same dialog is repeated word for word about six seconds later.
After the confrontation between Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight in the recording studio, one of Suge's crew members sits down on a chair. In the next camera shot he is seen sitting down again.
2Pac is in the studio recording Tupac Shakur's song "Hail Mary." That song was famously written and recorded in August 1996, but the scene takes place in 1993 or 1994.
When Dr. Dre is shown shifting gears in the Ferrari Testarossa, the shifter is not from a Ferrari. The shifter on a Testarossa is much longer and thin with a ball-type knob.
When Dre is scratching over Cherrelle's "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On" in the club scene (before Ice Cube raps) the record on the non-scratching turntable is on Atlantic Records, not Cherrelle's label, Tabu.
On the bus when the gangsta got on they appeared to be in the same gang however they had on opposing colors. The guy waving the gun kept screaming he was a blood but they would not gt caught in blue because that's the crips signature color.
The opening scene is set in 1986, and Eazy-E is seen wearing the black and white Chicago White Sox hat. However the White Sox did not adopt that logo until 1991.
When Ice Cube records music for "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted," a nearby television is playing footage of Minister Louis Farrakhan giving his speech at the Million Man March. The "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" album was recorded between Nov. 1989 and Apr. 1990, but the Million Man March took place in the fall of 1995.
Dr. Dre is often shown wearing a Dodgers jersey with a Majestic Athletic logo on the right sleeve, but during the late 80s the Dodgers were outfitted by Goodman & Sons and Russell Athletic. It wasn't until 2003 that Majestic became the official uniform supplier for the MLB.
While NWA is performing onstage on their tour, the stage lights located in the upright trussing onstage have LED PAR stage lights inside of the truss. LED PAR stage lighting was not used until after 2005.
When the NWA tour bus returns to Los Angeles, the Bank of America Center building in downtown is visible in the distance with its current logo. The logo seen was not adopted until 2001, while the tour occurred in 1989.
During the No Vaseline scene, the camera crane is vaguely reflected on Dr. Dre's Impala.
When Ice Cube destroys the Priority Records office, the cameraman is reflected on a few of the record awards.

The group runs outside when unrest breaks out in what is supposed to be Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. The bridge and crown of the venue are obvious to SoCal natives as being that of the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
When Suge Knight is driving to Deathrow Records, 'Deep Cover' is playing and you can hear Snoop Dogg say, "I think you five-o," despite him not being on the song until later in the film.
