Any episode that starts off with them opening a door that has near-vacuum on the other side and pulling it open outwards is not promising.
Without boring everyone with the math, the average size door would have over 50,000 pounds of force holding it closed against the near-vacuum. No way Mac is just pulling it open. Plus when they do pull it open, there is no rush of air from Mac's side to Desi's side.
Then Codex was going to decrypt a self-encrypting drive (likely a 256-bit cipher) with a couple of oscilloscopes? Really?
btw, the one on the right is a very old Tektronix scope that is older than most if not all of their team.
Maybe some of the issues with this episode were limitations on filming during a pandemic. or maybe it is filler while the writers work on getting Codex back running. Either way, not the most exiting episode.
