It can be quite easy to assume that once queens are on Drag Race that they've made it and live the lives of celebrities but this highlighted how hard it's been, especially when you consider they could not announce that they were on Drag Race until after all of the filming so they didn't even have a popularity boost to make some coin. But for me I thought seeing Veronica work through her depression was so important. It was really brave of her to let them use footage of her struggling for 12 weeks before going outside. I think this was so useful at highlighting the cost of the pandemic, not just on those directly affected by the virus, but on those strongly affected by lockdown.
- How Ellie had to declare herself homeless to get somewhere to live (which is especially mad when you consider they also work in a drive thru)
- How grateful Sister Sister was to have an "office" job to return to, and how much that helped compared to the other queens
- Biminis thoughts on LGBTQ+ venues
