For tribal tattoo fans, nothing approaches what this series documents: the vanishing tattoo tribes of our world. It's about our common humanity, gives respect to those peoples who created tattooing (before it was appropriated many times over by the Western masses), and is an educational experience for all ages. The host is sympathetic and knowledgeable, courageous and courteous, and is willing to do just about anything to learn more about the ancient arts of the skin.
But the question remains: why hasn't Discovery made it available on DVD? There are Russian and E.European bootleg DVDs out there, it's on German Itunes, but why not an English version that is legal for purchase by the fans of this series?
Doesn't make sense to me...?
