There were many aspects I enjoyed watching this documentary. The camera perspectives look great and show Hamburg harbor from its best side. If you are familiar with Fynn's and Olli's music you will recognize the soundtrack as Instrumental-versions and I found myself singing the lyrics to a lot of it. The editing made for a couple of nice moments and laughs. Fynn and Olli appear as they are - humans with great qualities, but also negative traits. Both are frequently overwhelmed and exhausted by the project and feel the financial and emotional burden of it. But they also display passion, creativity and joy to create something out of almost nothing (although Max is the overall MVP). Some moments are clearly staged for the camera or Instagram, but whenever this happens it is clearly shown or referenced by somebody.
Every human being will probably have made a wrong or rash decision in their live, albeit without these financial consequences. But to seek help, persevere through the struggles and create something beautiful in the end, a place of connection and creativity, is an uplifting story to tell. Please keep in mind through all criticism that they spend their own money on this, and every individual is entitled to do so as they please (as long as they are not hurting anyone). This project truly means something to them.
If you enjoy Fynn's and/or Olli's current or previous work such as music, podcast, documentary or YouTube appearances you will likely enjoy this. Thank you, Fynn and Olli! I laughed a lot, shook my head here and there and overall had a great time.
