This series was obviously made for young kids, which I didn't realize until after watching the first two episodes. This one was a little better than the first episode and I can see how young, pre-teen boys would get a big kick out of the alien parents concept explored here. Jack (Gabriel Bateman) and Ronald (Arjun Athalye) remain skeptical after a visit to Crazy Chris's (Henry Thomas) curiosity shop, especially after the owner weighs in on Zungarians as a paranoid species. When the boys witness both sets of parents using their supernatural abilities to levitate furniture and emit octopus-like tentacles, they become frantic in trying to avoid a family outing to Keystone Lake. Once there however, they become privy to their respective family secrets, and gradually get used to the idea of being aliens themselves, as the family car turns into a makeshift space ship that heads off to the planet Zungaria, as Crazy Chris knowingly beams from his vantage point.

Warning: Spoilers
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, I thought it was Very Well Done! I especially liked the second episode, "Parents Are From Mars, Kids Are From Venus". If only all growing up and the inevitable family confrontations were settled like these were. In my opinion Riki Lindhome was Excellent as Bonnie, the Loving Mother of Jack. Her use of Her alien-ness to snag a Dorito to munch on was Marvelous, and Her honest but awkward (to the boys) attempts to use slang to reach them was Hilarious!!!
Really Fun!!

Really great casting. I loved how the characters interacted, so perfectly. It is rare you get such synergy in the actors, especially between kids and parents, but the casting was actually very close to the synergy in E. T. And that is amazing.
