Great dance choreography, costumes, songs and cinematography. The sets and locations were very attractive and visually stunning.

The core premise of the story was a little confusing.

A story woven through two time periods (modern day and British Colonization) and two cultures (traditional/rural and western/urban). I found the juxtaposition of the two quite clever and the respect for cultures handled well. The story is captivating, revolving around a young woman's ambition to perform a tradition dance of a forbidden story in her village, and a young man's ambition to take his dance team to a world-wide competition. Although the plot was simple to guess from here, the story itself still held some unexpected plot twists and provoked thought about the concept of identity and the meaning of honor in both a modern and traditional culture.

Ultimately, I love that the story promotes hard work, ethic, mutual respect and understanding, and to be ambitious about reaching for one's dreams.

A Film With Unique Concept and Great Cinematography, Music, Direction, cast Everything made this Movie as A Complete package!!! Emotional Drama, Didn't Felt Bore feeling even a single second while Watching the movie, I have completely get into the Movie, The characters touched the Hearts❤. Sithara and Rohit Were awesome, Rohitbehal Acting Is Awesome factor to Your movie!

And Coming To Sandhya Raju Performance without Her This Movie Isn't Hit as Blockbuster.

Even I didn't know any knowledge in classical dance but I felt I have to Know classical dance.

I wish I will join and will learn classical dance.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I just watched this movie by seeing their promotions on meme pages. I was excited to see a movie which is meant to be our cultural representative. But I was very disappointed to see the movie. I was just literally asleep during the movie. But I applaud the efforts made by the entire movie team to make this movie. But ultimately the movie experience matters the most which I missed in this movie.

It's an eye feast to watch NATYAM with the top notch visuals and mixture of entertainment in the essence of dance! Never miss a chance to miss this film. This makes you laugh, think and cry too! Film industry and naatyam is grateful and lucky enough to have a performer like SANDHYA RAJU garu !! She steals the show 🙏🏻🎬

Movie is unique and much needed film in upcoming years may be some may fund flaws but this is a great movie to watch the art movies are very important and sandhya raju garu had done her best in various roles.

To summarize - The movie felt like it was made to promote the lead actress more than anything else, which is understandable because she's the producer.

Saddest part is it doesn't stand up for the title of the film. Though it is supposedly about dance, it doesn't do justice at all to ANY dance form.

Weak storyline, half cooked characters, poor acting, pretentious, insincere and frivolous. These are the words that come to my mind.

The only thing I really liked about this film are the costumes of the lead actress (well, that is expected, isn't it?)

Also, the locations are good. They shot in Lepakshi temple in Andhra Pradesh and that famous temple in Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

All in all, a forgettable experience.

Hi Sandhya Raju garu NATYAM movie is all about very much emotional,musical,expressive, lovable,dance,music,love, emotions,paiteince, acceptance, relationship most obviously KUCHIPUDI thank You for making such a lovely film in this whole film industry . I really haven't watch in my life such Kuchipudi film also the team added very much postive and colours to this I could see each one of you gave your soul and heart in this natyam movie.... I could really wish to be part of this journey all I can say is thank You for the great motivation towards dance passion it means a ton - A proud Kuchipudi Dancer wishing to watch many more such movies from the cast and crew thank You.

They used our culture and spoiled.u got headache in 30mnts.no screenplay no logic..very lag..time every time and every minute they told only natyam but she doesn't deserve this movie.. there is a better dancers in this country.

Sandya Raju garu , your involvement in the movie both onscreen and off-screen was so inspiring. No other actor or actress take that dare step to keep their 1000% in movie that to in a debut movie as a choreographer, actress, producer, production designer, costume designer. After seeing all your interviews I became a huge fan of you. I didn't expect your acting will be this fab....sandya garu your acting was too good and natural. I wish you all the success for your future projects. Basically I don't watch movies much , when I heard about this movie...I was so excited. Once again I'm telling sandya garu i became a huge fan of you.

It appears to be a movie about Brahmins. Casting seems stereotypical. It would have been better if there was a balanced perspective instead of portraying native communities as crass vs the scholarly sophistication of the Brahmins. Trying to revive and preserve a heritage that is probably less than 3000 years old, which practically destroyed and displaced the culture and traditions of a much more ancient aboriginal lineage that survived over 60KY against systematic persecution and stiff odds, seems a bit selfish and self absorbed and just this fact alone makes this movie quite hard to relate to or engage with.

Worth watchable.

I'm not saying it's a classical movie but it is nice one and good attempt by Natyam team and particularly Sandhya mam.

Sandhya mam was lived in that character.

Music and songs was so soothing and all songs are well choreographed by team.

Direction by Revanth was impressive.

Overall it's a good movie.

This is the best movie i have watched in this year Natyam movie is very interesting. After a longtime to see a such a good film.its a block buster cultural and Award Winning movie.

Sandhya raju acting is osm she lived in sitaram character.

Most of the movies are mostly commercial and for entertainment, here comes Natyam with a great story line based up on classical dancing.

Loved all the songs esp Chudava Chudava song.

This movie explores all the aspects of classical dancing be it Guru- Shisha paramapara, what dance means to a dancer, etc etc.

Each actor did a phenomenal job. Rohit is the cutest Krishana ever seen in Chusva song, Kamal sir did a very good job as a male classical dancer, Sandhya mam and her expressions are so so beautiful to watch.

Choreography by Aayana is top notch, it's spectacular to watch them on big screen

Natyam is a honest attempt to showcase indian classical dance. All lead actors did an awesome job Special kudos to Sandhya Raju on her passion towards kuchipidi dance. Every adult or kid who watch this movie want themselves or their kids to learn Indian classical dance. A big kudos to director who made an honest attempt and his multi tasking skills on various crafts shows his passion towards film making. May God bless all the team with bright future ahead. Direction and screen play is good and acting is superb by the cast.

The movie was extraordinary I enjoy a lot while watching the movie. The cast acting was very good one of the main leads sandya raju Garu dance and acting was top notch and her on screen presence was awesome the way she dance and act. Its dance refernce movie to future generations.

Natyam is classic cult movie which unfolds indian tradition and respect towards dance. It inspires national integration on culture and tradition. A very inspiring journey of guru and sishya. Top-notch visuals, extraordinary choreography and acting, great DOP and what not. Sandhya akka is truly an inspiration to all the dancers out there. What a beautiful journey from a dancer to actor.

Hats off to the director Revanth garu for the extraordinary picturisation. Heartiest congratulations to entire team of natyam for a classic hit. Every visual is a goosebumps moment and being a kuchipudi dancer I enjoyed every visual to the core. Natyam gonna be pride of Telugu people and no doubt that Natyam the movie gonna create history. I was one of those persons who waited for Natyam movie release. And now, I am so so elated and got great contentment after watching the movie natyam... I was completely involved while watching this movie and enjoyed each and every bit in this movie. The visuals, songs and dance are exceptionally good. Natyam means to tell a story through dance beautifully. And Sandhya Mam showed it in such a way that I couldn't take my eyes off her . Rohit and Kamal sir performed very well. 💐👏👏👏 THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the director Revanth and whole crew for this great attempt and showing a beautiful story with dance. Just watched the film and I am damn sure that one of perfect tribute for classical dance and story narration is extraordinary and sandya garu given her best to the movie and every single artist gave is effort to the movie Kadambari story it steals the entire viewers hearts.overally It is a proud moment for every telugu audience .

From the outset, we know that the theme revolves around dance. But unlike a lot of other dance themed movies , Natyam does a commendable job of inducing culture, history, themes and technicalities that otherwise is abent in a lot of movies today. The director and team have definitely taken pain staking efforts to dwell into the locations and CG's . NATYAM is the quintessential family drama which has the potential to be the next "Shankarabharanam".

In an age of big budget mindless commercial entertainers, here comes a big budget sensible art film. A visual treat layered with Native and historical themes, NATYAM is the story of dance which bonds two worlds, two ages, two different dancing styles and brings together a narrative that is surprisingly clean, elegant and engaging. Special mentions to the director(Revanth Korukonda) and the leading lady(Sandhya Raju) of the film. I have also loved Kamal Kamaraju's acting too, especially his different shades portrayed at different stages. Please go to theatres and support such content oriented movies. Finally Worth a watch!!!
