Good episode.

Emotional and suspenseful, esp with Ryan's Kryptonite wound and the continuing journey to find Kate. Loving how we're seeing Ryan's journey into becoming the next Batwoman. I only rated it a seven because I'm tired of the crows and Sophie. They really don't fit on this show anymore without Kate.

Virtue signaling isn't scripted drama.

There's no character to any of these characters. The Virtue Signaling"Don't Walk Past My Girlfriend" Hospital scene had the entire room I was in laughing out loud it was so cringe-worthy awful. There's nothing redeeming about anybody. Batwoman is an angry, virtue signaling, suit theif dating a deadly drug dealer who is destroying the lives of countless people, boys bad but drug-dealing girls good. Okay I got it. This would have been canceled in 2000 and is as entertaining as a trip to the proctologist.

Warning: Spoilers
The only redeeming quality this episode has is Jacob. He is doing the right thing in basically every part of the episode, and the show keeps punishing him for it. I think a comment I read said it best, saying that when the writers write Jacob, they're arguing with themselves with him being 'wrong' and then they lose the argument. But instead of going back and reflecting on their own position, they just go "uh no, you're wrong and I'm right because I said so."

Alice continues to be an insufferable psycopath that the writers can't seem to realize is one of the... well I was going to say one of the worst people in the show, but both Batwahmen are horrible people that repeatedly let bad guys go because it suits them so I don't know if I can say that.

Hey at least this was an above average episode due to Jacobs speech to Mary.

(Always remember people, if anyone ever tells you Jacob was wrong about the clinic, remind them that in the third episode, Mary moves the head of a person that may very well have a spinal injury while examining them.
