"Interception" was shot for University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts Intermediate Production Course CTPR 508 as part of a partnership between Steven Itano Wasserman & Corey Bodoh-Creed. Both "Interception" & "Bad High" share the same crew and location in the backyard of Steven Wasserman's home in Torrance, CA.
For "Interception" the crew dug a foxhole in Wasserman's backyard. (This same hole would be used for scene in "Bad High" which was the second film of the partnership) The illusion of a jungle was achieved by carefully positioning background plants borrowed from a local nursery. The USC's 508 class required shooting MOS (without production audio) and this was used to advantage since the surrounding suburban ambient noise would never be recorded.
