Alice becomes convinced that her husband Andrew was the one having an affair with Nesta. She does not believe him when Andrew tells her that he disliked Nesta.
Alice also thinks that she is being poisoned by Andrew. Her health is suffering.
Out of desperation, she goes to Dr Blunden for help.
This was such an anti-climax to a poor story. In effect the episode became one long confession.
It was really hard to care for any of the characters. The casting was not too great and unfortunately the late Mark Frankel was underwhelming.
