This film is part of a DVD set entitled "Treasures III"--a set of four DVDs all about social issues and reform. The second disk (where you'll find this one) is about women's issues in particular.
This particular film uses real film footage to show a march by women demanding the right to vote. This coincided with the inauguration of Woodrow Wilson and some of the marchers walked all the way from Newark, New Jersey to Washington, DC--a heck of a long walk! By the time the march arrived, some 5000 women were marching! While this is all very dry, it's an amazing part of our history that is often forgotten or taken for granted. Thank goodness this footage has remained intact.
