Maxine has decided it's time she moved on, and looked for a new man, she realises that there are plenty more fish in The Sea. Helen decides to move back to the family home, on the condition that Luke moved out.
The transformation of this show has been quite remarkable, as soon as it stopped trying to be funny, and transformed into a tragedy, it has improved dramatically. The last couple of episodes have been better, and this was yet another enjoyable, bittersweet installment.
I can't say I'm a huge fan of Luke or Maxine as characters, Helen yes, and once again I have to say I think Jane Asher has been marvellous.
A younger man with a more mature woman, this really was The BBC pushing the boundaries somewhat.
Dorian Healy was pretty good here, I could have seen him being an interesting regular had the series continued.
7/10.
