I felt like his "war" visions and imaginations didn't stick with the character personality, who showed to be really kind and loving. That felt a little out of place for me. Other than that, this episode was a joy to watch. Very charismatic characters! I literally cried with joy.

It just makes me so happy. It isn't the perfect love story but it has so much maturity and filled with love. I truly love the concept. How life doesn't end when your marriage fall apart. And it doesn't have to be messy and filled with hate. This story gives me so much hope. Warmth in my heart too.
Touching

Extraordinarily well done. The writing is wonderful. The acting is perfect. The directing is imaginative. A much more real portrayal of what many veterans go through. TV and movies tend to only show overly dramatic cases of vets with PTSD rather than the more subdued but very difficult transition many of them face. The scene where Spence literally sheds his past and his armor as he accepts his heartbreak while walking "through the fire" to Gary Clark Jr.'s song will stay with me for a long time. It doesn't end there though :).
The worst episode of this serie!!

This episode felt childish in terms of script, acting, direction, dialogues. The story is so predictable and it became unbearable to watch for the acting, it was like watching the actors reading a book with no emotions or passion. And the whole fault was the direction, with absolute no care for the story.
I love how it is raw

It's funny reading other reviews. Seems like you either love or hate this one. To me it was layered, nuanced, real and raw. Having been through a divorce several years ago (and remarriage), this touched so many nerves. Also an Army brat who has known soldiers struggling with PTSD, really loved how they portrayed this character's inner battle. Beautifully told story of heartbreak, putting pieces back together, we're growing and hopeful. Nothing flashy, just a sweet, down to earth real love story that ends in hope. The end made my heart swoon as they finished sitting in the therapist's office and the look of joy on their faces.
I think this is my best episode this season

I loved this episode it's a story of loss, pain growth, companionship and rebuilding oneself. Learning to hope again and just perhaps along the way find a life partner. This episode has a special place in my heart even though I'm not through with the rest of the season I am floored and overwhelmed with emotions 'cause this is just beautiful.
As many other episodes have done, this episode shows that love can be so much more than romantic.
As Spence and Isabelle meet again they become for each other what they need, for Isabelle she needs a teammate and for Spence,he needs a companion-someone to walk through life with.
Along the way they're able to open up the hearts for much more.
