Charming rather than jokular, Clive Oven will team up with the writers Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka in a new comedy called The King of the Castle.
Penned by The Sitter scribes, The King of the Castle will also serve as their directorial debut. Owen would reportedly play a smooth philanderer whose latest seduction is caught on film by a teenager who turns to blackmail.
Gatewood and Tanaka are also responsible for penning a movie adaptation of Baywatch.
The new comedy will be financed by Benaroya Pictures (Margin Call) and produced by Jonathan Gordon (The Silver Linings Playbook).
No word yet on when The King of the Castle will lens.
