It deserved to be so much better.

Rosie is losing the remainder of her hearing, she's struggling with everyday life, and needs to find new ways of hearing

Is it 1974, and I wasn't aware? I adored the characters of Rosie and Jack, her story was interesting, but it was soured by the character of Nathan, all I can say here, he's a middle aged white man, it's The BBC, of course he's going to be intolerant and narrow minded, BBC why is this ways the case? Please try and show some imagination.

The shining light here is Sophie Stone, what a talent, I think she's terrific, and I hope to see a lot more of her in the future, she could have had way more impact in a better written episode, it's such a shame.

I am stunned that Nathan has the intelligence to work, he's characterised in such a way that he should be walking around in a loin cloth shouting 'Me Man!!'

Overall, I find this one the most disappointing one of this series, it had all the parts, but on the whole it was just poor, it was hard to take the character of Nathan seriously, he spoiled it. 5/10.
