"Atwater" is a very good character and the actor portraying his character is one of my favorites! He's very much believable in all his episodes and tonight was no exception! His eyes are very expressive and he is very much steeped in the "War that is Chicago", with seemingly no perfect outcome, no matter how hard the police struggle to right the many ills of the city. They remind the public just how precarious their lives and jobs actually are! They, just like police everywhere, start each day with a target on their backs, but persevering none the less to try and protect and serve!

Good episode. New guy looks like he could be good. I liked that there was more scenes with all the characters together.

Can be better

I liked that the last season with this one has started to be more emotional where in each episode we were dragged into the personal life of each blue in the intelligence unit.. But what I disliked that this season is all about Black life matter and that's a good thing.. But I try to use the TV in a way to stay out of the real world and just enjoy my time But now days everyone is using BLM and coronavirus in their shows I mean I seriously feel blue because of corona and I try to escape the real world by watching series in some parts of my day but to keeo insisting on using real life events Is really bad

I mean keep up the emotional content I love it this way but take us out of our world into oblivion of the real world

Such a good episode
I enjoyed this episode from start to finish. The conflict was written well, you feel sympathy for the characters and it wasn't forgettable. Cooper is a great character and his perspective on the whole situation and empathy made him very likeable from the get-go. Unlike some other reviews are oddly mentioning, this episode doesn't actually have a lot of BLM themes, just enough for it to not be the focus of the episode at all but also enough for it to not be forgotten. Hope I see more of Cooper in the next episodes to come!

Warning: Spoilers
Everything is about race...NO IT'S NOT! Asking Voight to "bring up a new Intelligence". Every other sentence is about police vs black community. It all boils down to people who live in a high crime community think they shouldn't be stopped or questioned. If you're in the open door you could just as easily be a criminal as not so what are police supposed to do...let them go? Being poor doesn't give you a pass. Oh and by the way this doesn't just apply to black communities. "Anyone" that looks suspicious for any reason deserves to be checked out. It's not all about race!
