Esperava mais desse EP
coisadescraptrap7 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers

I'm not okay
Spunkyspoo7 November 2021
Help. This episode held my heart gently, then crushed it. Screw Gabriel Agreste. This episode is right up there with the episode "Chat Blanc". However it does end up being like a filler and just catering to fans, since it becomes like a "what if"-story more than anything. Still a great episode and an emotional rollercoaster.

that was... INCREDIBLE

Warning: Spoilers
''Ephemeral'' also known as episode 100 overall of the show, and episode 22 of the season, which always promised to be the most bombastic and tense episode of the season and kind of really was, and I kind of wasn't too let down by the oblivion. Of the identities, because that was perfection, it was a lot at the same time and I kind of like it even if my head tilts but as they said the tense episode, and yes, it was tense.

Disappointed bad writing
MrDero1 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Im tired of what if episodes. Everything went to bad because the writers wanted it to turn to bad.

The way Gabriel found out Adrien was Cat Noir was so freaking dumb it's not even funny.

It's obvious writers don't want to think. They want money that fans are making for them. They could have made it longer. The episode was so rushed and it is dumb sorry my favorite show is Miraculous but im so dissappointed. After all it has been 5 years and nothing has changed so far.

I mean... Yeah

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, let's start by the good things of the episode: Cosmobug and Astrocat transformation is finnaly here and is absolutely gorgeous, it's by far one of my favorite transformations; Shadows Noir's outfit is what it what's suposed to be, terrifying but good and gives us the information that they can fuse more than 2 miraculous; Luka and Marinete relationship just went better, even tho is not romantic (cries in Lukanette Stan), and they didn't make Gabriel do the same thing they did in Cat Blanc, like, "Oh, let me throw my SON across all Paris" (#bestdad), no they make him talk with Adrien, make him understand his point, AND NOT ALMOST KILL HIM; Sass uses his power and it was just awesome; Joane d'Arc was a Ladybug, just yes and the Animations is good

Now the bad parts... Oh God: Everything went very fast, we can't even process what is happening, it's like this: Bob Roth akumatized - Every hero - No Cat - Gabriel touches his RING (WHY GOD) - Moolak defeated thanks to Viperion, Polymouse, Carapace, Vesperia and a FIRETRUCK - Su-han reappears and want's Ladybug to know Cat's identity - Ladybug and Viperion make a plan - Adrien reveals and the plan fails - Marinete is being tormented because she knows his identity - Marinete reveals - Adrinette canon - Gabriel finds out that Adrien is Cat Noite - Adrien finds his mother corpse - Adrien discovers that Gabriel is ShadowMoth - Adrien akumatized after Gabriel touches his RING (WHY GOD) - ShadowNoir appears and KILLS Marinete - Marinete reveals herself to Luka (because she doesn't know he knows yet) - Sass uses his powers - No one remembers anything - Chaos - Astrocat and Cosmobug transformation - they save the day - Cat sadder - Su-han accepts Ladybug decision of not knowing Cat's identity - End cards, like IT'S TO MUCH.

Moolak's design is horrible; the blushing is SO BAD, like Gorizilla was an episode with BEAUTIFUL BLUSHING here... No; Adrien doesn't have pyjamas (HE SLEEPS WITH SHOES); nothing really happens unlike in Cat Blanc and Oblivio, they were still what if episodes but still add something to the story, Ephemeral design is a grape; Adrien suddenly fell in love with Marinete, like we didn't even saw him fell in love it was just: It's Marinette, I'm gonna date her; It's easily discardable and forgetable.

Utterly ridiculous!
ultimatedisneycruisefan7 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm so sorry folks, I'll have to give this 1 of 10. Adrien obeying his father even if he's hawkmoth? THIS IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE!!! This is supposed to be a kids show, and Adrien needs to stand up to him! Don't get me wrong though, I do love the reveals and when Adrien and Marinette hugged as a couple, it was cute while it lasted. But because of Gabriel controlling Adrien, I'm giving this 1/10 stars. And for you folks thinking that he's a sentimonster, HE AIN'T A SENTIMONSTER! I wish they had a parental discretion message in this episode! I'm not waiting any longer here! When Gabriel is defeated, he is so going to jail! Like buttercup said in Toy Story 4: "Dad's totally going to jail!". Gabriel is so cold with ZERO emotion! Adrien deserves better!

I might actually stop watching the show after this one personally
phoenixfire_rina7 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I wanna start by saying that I know this episode was exactly the right cup of tea for some of y'all and I am aware that my opinion is not universal.

But let's just list the issues (again, from my POV): -Time travel, unless done absolutely perfectly is KNOWN for being a cheap, empty plot point by TV writers. It's known for this, and yet this show has given us multiple episodes with this kind of teasing. Once? Okay you got it out of your system. Every season now? No. You're done. You want an example? Dr Who. Dr Who is all about time travel, except it's not. Because the Doctor doesn't control it, he ends up where he's supposed to be to do something that he needs to do because the universe wants him to be there to do the thing. He can't go back and save people, and it creates constant issues in the Doctor's plot and it's awesome.

-How Gabriel discovers who Cat Noir says is just stupid. I won't argue that point because it just is. CN & LB are literally the hottest things in Paris rn, Adrian saying "my lady" could literally just be a thing the kids are saying now for all he knows. Moronic, oversimplified, rush job of something that would have been much better as an ark.

-Continuing on that last one: How much better would that have been if he'd heard that and just gone "huh.... that's weird... could he be? Could I be such an oblivious father that I just.... completely failed to notice my own son is Cat Noir? No! ...Well.... No no no, I'm a great father I'd have noticed" and then have him struggle with that in the future season? There's other ways to do it but that was just an example.

-As mentioned before, this episode felt empty and rushed for something that should have made me feel..... something emotional. ESPECIALLY the moment where LB reveals herself to him (something else that would have made a great inner turmoil arc). It felt like a cheap cash tease that I'm sure in France was filled with commercials that made it look like they were FINALLY gonna be together.

I want to add that I think the writers think we all want them to discover who the other one is but a lot of us don't want that. If they do and it makes for good story then that's great but that isn't the main thing most of us want. We just want them to be the amazing couple they will clearly one day be. How they get to that specific plot wise doesn't matter as much as getting them to open up and communicate in general. So when you wrap up an episode like this with them still making zero progress towards that then folks like me get sick of this.

For those of you feeling the pain and frustration of this episode I recommend the Chinese Drama O2O. It's a great palette cleanser of simplicity to give you what you're wanting out of Miraculous rn.

Emotional but unnecessary
mahlicaajaib27 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode does succeed in making the viewer feel emotional like Cat Blanc

And Marinette's reactions in the episode were hilarious and provided some great comical moments

However, this episode ultimately did not need to exist

We got exactly what we wanted, saw both reactions. Marinette finding out was the show's biggest mystery and now we know

Once you take away the whole mystery of it, there isn't much left.

Its a fun episode, but leaves you thinking what's the point anymore?

Worst episode of miraculous
superboyys8 November 2021
This is worst episode of miraculous only for time waste and 2 villains in this episode but both villains are doesn't shows the powers and doesn't show the villains suit and this episode is useless and story development is very bad the most useless episode of miraculous.

Lost potential.
emilymckin3 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It was a good idea, really, it could've been something.. If you spent more time and development on it. The main scene was like 5 minutes, it would've been better if this episode had more plot development. The end of the world was fixed just like that, took like 5 minutes. Like, 15 minutes was built just around ONE VILLAIN. One villain. Not even the main plot. 5 minutes was based on the ship scenes. And at the end, the GRAND MASTER just randomly trusts a random 14 year old girl with the miracle box? Really, alot of lost potential. I've seen better episodes in the first season. Even "simple man" was better.

Very disappointing
annadath-5486517 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
!Spoilers!

I had such high hopes for this episode, due to it being the 100th one, all for it just to be just another '"what if" episode. It was all going well until the time travel got brought back into it, it's cheap and boring. The fact that there are no true consequences in this show anymore because of time travel element makes it so much worse compared to how it used to be. It's obvious that the creators are just trying to squeeze all they can out of the show at this point, and don't care about whether it is good or not. I'm genuinely considering dropping the show after this episode, very upset.
