At the time of their 10th anniversary as a popular duo, the marriage between Nina an Frederik was in shambles. Frederik was living with another woman and Nina had undergone a depression. For those reasons, the anniversary wasn't widely celebrated, but Annett Wolf (a personal friend of Nina's), produced this show in a last but failed attempt to reignite the duo's career. Two years later they were divorced.
The Fata Morgana show consisted of eight duets, two Frederik solos and one Nina solo. There were one or two short solos by each of the opera singers. Willy Grevelund also performed a couple of new introductory compositions newly written with Palle Mikkelborg. There were one or two short solos by each of the opera singers (archive footage).
