- A creature attempts to pull a man under the ice of a frozen lake. As it reaches to grab the man, a glowing spear pierces the creature's arm at the wrist, and the force of the impact tears the forearm off. This ends the attack, as the creature sinks into the depths of the lake, trailing blood from its injury.
- There is a fight sequence between several people and a group of fishmen. Several fish heads are exploded via magic. One is pierced by a pair of arrows. One is mauled by a bear. Deaths of the fish creatures tend to leave some blood splatter on the people or animal killed them.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In a flashback, Vax and Vex break into a locked jewelry box and play with a tiara they find inside. They are surprised by their father, causing them to drop and break the tiara. The father yells at them for destroying a cultural artifact, indicating they would have known better if they weren't of mixed herritage. The father calls them a mistake and they decide to run away. This scene may upset or distress viewers.
- A fishman with magical ability attempts to drown people with swirling whirlpools of water.
- Vex is caught in the blast of a magical trap going off, appearing to kill her instantly. Her friends and family act to try and save her, and then react to her passing. Very emotional.
