Brilliantly crafted movie with social message
civabhusal21 February 2023
Unload, is a brilliantly crafted movie that addresses the contemporary social problem, especially in the United States, that of the gun violence. There are multiple family stories in the movie and I loved the way how the crew brought all those stories together. I loved the beginning of the story and was was hooked throughout. The character development is also great-- we know more things about the characters as the movie goes along, and develop emotional connection with them.

Besides, I also loved the way how the crew depicted unique places in the Los Angeles suburb. Brilliant effort overall! Watching it was an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend!

Unwatchable

Very poor production values. The acting is wooden at best, made all the worse by a script that is painful to sit through. The editing is terrible, with many strange and jarring decisons that exacerbate the low quality of the footage. The colour is awful, making every scene look like it was filmed on a 1st generation smartphone. The audio rounds off the terrible values by having no depth or quality, sounding as though it was both recorded and edited by someone who had no idea of what they were doing.

I've seen very few movies as bad as this one. Honestly, if this were a film school student's first effort, I would be disappointed in this output.

Hideously bad. Do not waste your time.

Glorious Movie after longtime...

It is a glorious film and fantastic connections of multiple family daily life. But you could not make it now. Mixture of suspense and theatrically dramatic characters. Awesome and memorable which has a good very message and showcase the very common issues which we can see in everyday news in USA. The subject of mental disorders has long become a niche for all kinds of thriller and horror movies but this one stands out very simple and watchable with whole family. Looking forward to see of these kind of messages from director and actors. Appreciate the hardwork for all workers in the marvellous movie.
