Riley Leaves Home
JordanThomasHall16 April 2018
Riley is upset that Gillis has been named the new foreman over his department instead of him. When Gillis and Honeybee come over gloating, Riley is determined to have a talk with his boss. It results in his supervising the paving of the landing field at the new plant. Riley understands that the plant is located 30 miles from San Diego, however, and the family would have to uproot for six months. The confusion of having to travel there by boat is cleared when Gillis explains that is Santiago, Chile. With everyone feeling it would be dangerous to go, Riley insists he still must go- alone. He knows it's the type of job he's been dreaming of, but begins regretting the situation and feels it may be too late to turn back.

Promote me, already!

Riley is upset when Gillis gets a promotion and he doesn't. So when he goes to his boss and demands a promotion, he gets it, but is it really what he wants?

As the time comes closer for Riley to leave his family, neither he nor his family want him to go. But after promising, how will they ever get out of this? Well, this is, after all, Life of Riley so we know he naturally gets booted, but how?

I don't think the episodes are good later in the season as they were early on. Perhaps that's what met it's demise. I know that later a different actor came back to play Riley, but I just can't get into it...I'm actually looking forward to the end of this series.
