When Charles leave, Larry points out to Edwin that he and Charles like each other. A lot. Edwin only says that Charles is his "mate" and tells Larry to not be crass, and it wouldn't be normal if he did have feelings for Charles. Larry says that he used to think the same, but now it is normal. Edwin thank Larry for the concern.
Charles remembers standing in a lake while other boys throw rocks at him. He comes back to the others and says that everything's fine. Larry wonders why Rita's broach that he brought with him isn't glow and revealing the way, and Edwin explains that it's just a prop that Crystal gave Larry, and Larry will just feel Rita... "in theory". The trio go to the nearby dock

Larry just says that it was an experience, and he's back minus the Spirit. Rita asks her friend if he's okay, and Larry says that he's all right and asks who the Man was. Rita tells Larry that she doesn't know and remembers confronting "herself" at the resort. She wonders if the Man mistook her for that Rita.
Cliff tells Jane what happened to him, and figures that he needs help with living. Jane says that she does also.
