Don's farewell and it's a doozy. His poetry reading to his class is rather touching and comes close to breaking the fourth wall. It's all a precursor to the large party as pretty much the whole town comes together to tell Don how much they mean to him.The flashback sequence is well-pitched and the little reminder of Sally and Don's first meeting feels like a real passing of the torch moment.
Rhys' reaction to Max being sued is brilliant and adds a nice light touch to the episode. The stuff with Angie feels a bit out of place, although her being omitted from Don's farewell is fairly effective, but is perhaps necessary to demonstrate the problems Don is leaving behind.
