I can't believe you slept with all those women - Becca Moody

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is by far the best one. Because of Hanks lack of indulgence, it is only a matter of time before his world collapses. Therefore, this episode is a perfect reflection of the overarching storyline of Californication. The chaos accumulates in an amusing way and in the end Hank drops a rare piece of wisdom, and with that he makes his daughter understand that their house is not treated as a brothel, but simply the victim of a collision of affection. I must have seen this episode 5-10 times and every time it puts the exact same smile on my face. These are the characteristics of a solid 9.

Brilliant episode

Warning: Spoilers
Everyone's favourite anti-hero is face to face with all the problems in his life. This episode is a comedy of errors which ultimately ends up a poignant reminder of what this show is actually about: Hank's relationship with his daughter.

In the past, Hank has acknowledged he is an a-hole, but continues his debauchery nonetheless. In talking with his disappointed and angry daughter, Hank reveals his true self and the viewer actually believes he has remorse for his actions, although the viewer (and Becca) also knows he will not stop.

One of the best episodes in the entire series, a reminder of why you're still watching.

Triple Trouble
conannz5 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is the funniest episode ever of Californication. Hank looks to be heading for triple trouble when his student arrives with two fellow strippers.

He manages to resist temptation but then his teaching assistant arrives and then later the professor who all want a piece of him.

Somehow even though it sounds farcical in a kind of baseball joke - who is on one, who is on two, who is on three Hank makes a home run and survives all the attention.

Anyone of these women would be fun but to have them all in the same place at the same time is outrageous. Luckily they are in different rooms but that just adds to the fun.

One of the best S3 episodes

Warning: Spoilers
The Apartment -- The title is resonant to the claustrophobic nature of this 28-minute long episode which would probably keep you thinking about it. With Hank's desperate means to get Karen to make love through Skype becoming a failure, he gets a surprise visit from Jackie and two of her friends/strippers joining the league, Hank is in for paradise.

Written fantastically, The Apartment has those surprises/thrills waiting round the corner. One goes and one appears, the women -- Jackie, Jill and Felicia appear and well, hell breaks loose when the kids appear. On the touchy side, it's a good episode to show Becca and Hank talking about things and getting together. An extremely funny yet hearty episode!
