Good but not spectacular..

Warning: Spoilers
The movie for the first 25 minutes was slow and boring, pointless exposition done in boring ways. One of the characters barley gets any development before he gets killed. The rest of the movie is good-great, the death of maleks brother was very disturbing and out of the blue, to see Malek stab his brother like that made me want to throw up. The end 25 minutes or so was beautiful, I think it took place in a sort of hell where Ryan is being put in. For the characters, my personal favorites are Ryan and Malek, I hope they get more screen time and development in the future, if there is a sequel of some sort but when there's good, there's bad, I hated UnknownFlickz' character; James to death, the acting was so over exaggerated and annoying, he would randomly change subjects out of nowhere and had very over exaggerated reactions out of the 4, while the other characters would have their own reaction that reflects their character, Ryan, the secret killer of the group, tries to stay calm and help out to not cause more death (ironic huh?), Malek, the internet geek, tries to investigate and figure out what happened and why it happened, Jonas, sadly dies before he gets to have a reaction, Simon, the jokester of the group is skeptical and believes that Jonas is joking or pulling a prank before staying utterly silent after maleks and his little brothers death, but James? He just sits there, makes annoying faces and says the obvious. There's some points where he's enjoyable but the best scene with him is where he breaks his neck in the most unbelievable way possible, not to mention his actor says the name of his real YouTube channel in the movie and tries covering it up in the most unconvincing way possible, "it's my brothers channel" sure bud, sure. The movie doesnt have much blood, the only deaths with blood I think are Ryan's and Maleks. If I had to say the best kill was maleks little brother, or Malek himself, both pretty disturbing, worst death? Probably James or Jonas, Jonas gets fake PNG blood while James unconvincingly breaks his neck, while simons is entirely offscreen, that's what makes it so that's it good, gets your head thinking what could've happened, I'll give my final thoughts in the list below

Plot: 7.5/10

Characters: 7/10

Acting: 6.75/10

Kills: 8/10

Overall scariness: 9/10

Final ranking: 7.75/10.

This film was mad!

Warning: Spoilers
This film plays with expectations like Life on Mars did with the time-travelling plot. The film starts off as your typical found footage film done in the style of Unfriended which i've always praised. Seriously, If you don't want to travel to another individual's house just to make a movie, You can call a bunch of friends on Streamlabs or Discord from the comfort of your home. In fact, An hour and 40 minutes into the movie, The film pulls a REC 3 : Genesis and turns into an artsy psychological thriller filled with trippy visuals and an ending similar to the likes of Hereditary. As for the found footage part, It's good. I liked how unexpected the murders are and the last death (Simon) is entirely offscreen. One of the actors said that there might be a prequel sequel in the works called Pharism. Vergo was absolutely incredible and it was a collaboration with a bunch of people whose reputations were on the line. I would definently recommend it for mostly the ending since that's when things start to get freaky.
