• Minako Aino : Here you go! I brought you porridge! I made it right this time!

  Rei Hino : T-th-this time?

  Artemis : Before she came here, she visited Ami and Makoto's place, and made them porridge, too.

  Minako Aino : But they were miserable failures. I feel bad about that. Anyway, eat, eat, eat!

  [She sets the tray down on Rei's lap] 

  Minako Aino : Yes!

  Rei Hino : [weakly]  Uh... thanks.

  [She shifts her gaze suspiciously between the porridge and Minako's eager face. She takes a bite of the porridge with a loud inhale. Minako and Artemis watch in silence as Rei swallows. Rei screams, then collapses forward on her face. Minako screams in surprise] 

  Minako Aino : Rei-chan? What's wrong! Rei!

  [Artemis takes a lick of the porridge and recoils in disgust] 

  Artemis : Mina... too much salt...

  Minako Aino : What? I did it again! I'm such a bad girl!

  Artemis : Don't try to change the subject.

  Rei Hino : Minako-chan... sorry, but I'm going to sleep for a while...

  Minako Aino : Oh, really? Then wait a minute, I'll clean this right up for you!

  [as she's trying to lift the tray she drops the bowl and spills porridge on Rei's head] 

  Minako Aino : I'm sorry!

  Artemis : Mina, you klutz...

  Minako Aino : Oh, I'm sorry, Rei-chan! I'll switch your blanket for a new one! Let's see...

  [She pulls the blanket out from under Rei, sending her flying] 

  Minako Aino : Sorry, Rei!

  Artemis : Sorry, Rei. Mina isn't doing this on purpose.

  Rei Hino : If this was on purpose, she'd be more wicked than Esmeraude!

  [Minako has replaced Rei's sheets with clean ones] 

  Minako Aino : Here, Rei-chan. I made your bed. So sleep tight, okay? Oh, I know!

  [She dashes off to get something] 

  Minako Aino : I'll put on some music so you can sleep well.

  [She tries to work the boombox] 

  Minako Aino : You know, this is supposed to produce alpha waves and get the listener into a very relaxed mood. This is weird. I wonder if this is the switch? What is this? Oh, this must be it!

  [the boombox plays extremely loud music. Rei and Artemis are clearly suffering] 

  Minako Aino : Oh, sorry, sorry! I'll fix it right away!

  [She presses more buttons frantically which makes the boombox explode. Minako laughs nervously] 

  Minako Aino : Why, of course! Sleeping in a quiet room is the best when you're sick!

  Rei Hino : [inner monologue]  Even nice Rei has reached the limit of her patience!

  [Rei screams with fury, sending Minako bounding out the front door] 

  Minako Aino : I'm sorry!
