a phone call
orestamateescu10 June 2023
A lady in a bar, for celebrate a well done task.

A phone call, a tensioned conversation and its bizarre end. But when all seems clear, a last piece complaits the game.

I saw it for the nostalgical love for noir films.

And, indeed, from atmosphere to the story, acting and twist , all works nice. In line of women power, it proposes a simple, precise crafted story, the fair location, wise dose of mistery and some suggestions fair crafted. And, in essence, it is just enough.

In short, familiar flavors and the smart use of nuances defining her character by Elisabeth Burnette.

The moral matters in same measure, reminding old Oriental fairy tales.
