The story was originally conceived as a film and written as such by Fili A. Martinez during his time in high school, but due to external problems he had to adapt it to a short film format by putting together a small team of photographers and actors of his own age.
The major inspiration for this short film was The Other Side of the Wind and Touch of Evil by Orson Welles where Fili A. Martinez has said that his scenes were a profound influence to carry out the style of this work.
When the shooting started there were a lot of problems starting with the main actor: Javier Castillo who had to abandon the project due to lack of interest and to concentrate on his studies, so he was replaced by a friend of Fili Martinez named Mike Castillo who played the role of an extra in the production. Mike took the lead role with all the willingness and attitude to support the short film but unfortunately he couldn't finish all his scenes due to external problems but it didn't matter because he had filmed enough scenes for the short film.
On top of that Alfredo Guzman who Fili had chosen for the role of the Morales boss had to reject it due to family problems and that role ended up in the hands of Estefany Alvarado's boyfriend who kindly offered to help in the project. In the end Alfredo was able to return to the production playing the character of Ripstein's friend.

The short film was part of Lift off global network's April 2021 First-Time Filmmaker Sessions.
