Think the idea of a 'revolution' is about tryna inspire those that haven't before or who are young to get gardening and/or give some really cutting edge or unusual options. I don't feel however that the ideas and designs are exciting enough, cheap enough, crafty or creative enough for newbies or those with wee budgets or who rent. The sustainability message is important and present in the narrative, but there is always a big ol' skip being filled with stuff so not quite present in execution - this might have been revolutionary a decade ago but when you're eons behind and not going as far as Gardeners World/basic bbc 'old peoples' garden shows, what's the point.
In series 1 at least they showed a few different gardens/projects and had a younger presenter, but in the second its just the one project and one sleb's garden (not interested TBH) per episode. Basically its kinda dull, doesn't provide much inspiration, and there certainly isn't enough actual gardening knowledge/horticology for anyone with any experience growing.
