I can't believe what I just witnessed. Alan Cummings performance was next level awful. I could understand how to writers might have thought a sophisticated British detective could make the show more interesting but that was just... oh my god he was trying so hard it was hard to watch and also what was with the kiss at the end.

My mind feels numb.

To hyper theatrical. You can't have 2 big characters in the same show. It became like a pantomime.

They Murdered It!

What the heck?? What was Alan Cummings character? It was waaaay too over the top and to be perfectly honest, insulting to us Brits! To top it off, there are at least 3 actual British actors in this episode! What must they have thought?

I absolutely love this show but this episode had me wanting to switch it off within 5 minutes. Us viewers are owed an apology for this nightmare!

Im sorry but Alan Cummings and the really rubbish ham acting had me abandoning prodigal son for ever.
