Horror fans looking for something new to stream this October are in luck, as we’ve got the rundown of where to stream 79 horror movies from 2022.

Schitt’s Creek star and co-creator Dan Levy is partnering with Netflix for Good Grief, marking his feature directorial debut. Cast announcements are making the rounds today with word that Oscar nominee Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, and Luke Evans will star alongside Celia Imrie, Arnaud Valois, and Jamael Westman.
In addition to his role behind the camera, Levy wrote the script. Good Grief is Levy’s first project for Netflix through his Not A Real Production Company banner.

There are quite a few movies out there that deal with tales of possession, of evil spirits that live out in the wilds or were lost with an ancient civilization or that target child. Moloch has likely been tossed around in a tumbler before it was displayed on the screen, but it works without any doubt. Shudder Acquires Official Fantasia Festival Selection Moloch: "Shudder, AMC Network’s premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, has acquired rights to Dutch director Nico van den Brink’s directorial debut Moloch. The film, an official selection of the Fantasia International Film Festival, will be available exclusively on Shudder in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on Thursday, July 21.
“Moloch is a bold and thrilling new folk horror that is sure to chill Shudder members this summer,” said Shudder general manager Craig Engler.
Added Nico van den Brink, ”I’m extremely excited to be working with Shudder in bringing Moloch to horror-lovers worldwide. The film will have a wonderful home there. I know we have some very creepy stories to tell in the Netherlands and I'm really looking forward to inviting Shudder's diverse and international audience into the unique world of local Dutch folklore.

Shudder has announced that they have acquired the rights for Nico van den Brink’s directorial debut Moloch. To celebrate, Shudder has released a creepy and bloody trailer as well, have a look below. Betriek lives at the edge of a peat bog in the North of the Netherlands. When she and her family are attacked by a random stranger one night, Betriek sets out to find an explanation. The more she digs, the more she becomes convinced that she is being hunted by something ancient. The round of pre-Fantasia acquisitions continues. “Face Off” helmer John Woo will receive a Career Achievement Award during Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival, about to celebrate its 26th edition. The Hong Kong filmmaker is currently working on “Silent Night,” starring Joel Kinnaman and Kid Cudi.
“I defy anyone to watch ‘Bullet in the Head,’ ‘Hard Boiled’ or ‘The Killer’ and not walk away wanting to break down the shots and make a movie. His use of camera movement, close-ups, the ways he would block and choreograph, it’s astonishing to look at,” Fantasia’s artistic director Mitch Davis told Variety, noting the “unexpected poetry” of Woo’s work.
“They are such unconventionally soulful films. I wish we could somehow unleash a flock of doves in the cinema when he steps onto the stage. Backlit.”
