Leave your thinking to me Captain, you have your orders
ha77y73ad9716 July 2021
WIth the arcs of clone wars coming back to the forefront its great to see an episode that doesnt have to lay down the story for the first 5 mins but straight back to where it left off, with both Syndullas in prison and the new Governor who has to be Vice Admiral Rampart trying to find out where Hera has gone. There's still some doubt in Clone Captains Howzers face in whether this is the right thing to be doing.

Rampart is certainly a step up from Pryce who was the last Imperial that wasn't apart of the military. More cunning in his words and certainly more ruthless after last weeks episode. Not to the level of Thrawn but up to scratch with Tarkins performance in Rebels. Even in his questioning of Howzer who should be following each and every order there a underlying tone to everything.

With an encrypted message to the BB we finally have them involved in the story, another rescue from the Empire to secure a valuable target. The smalls of the different enhancements to the BB is great with just a small nod HUnter springs into action to take out a Probe droid, no explanation just gets the job done.

Big explosions and a decoy for the squad to get through but throwing in the line about becoming a pilot seems like they've got the TROS writers in and have to spoon feed the audience. Just jump in a shuttle and show she cant fly. Would love for the the shuttle they confiscated to have been the ghost seems like a missed opportunity.

In the final moments it seems as though the amount of clones that are not affected by the chips or still have free will seems to be increasing. Order 66 is final but after that clones are still a living being to make there own choices.

Just for Howzer
pinobarbaritano-4484016 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I wasn't enjoying the previous episode sadly cause it was to less of a bad batch episode to me... but I really like the new Clone-Character Howzer of who we got more to see in this episode. But I am kinda concerned about the ending of the season... either it will be too rushed now or we HAVE to get a second season 2... I really dislike that we don't get development for Tech and Echo... I wish we could still get that... And I'm kinda sad that it took so many episode for crosshair to finally begin with hunting down the bad batch...

A top 3 episode for sure.

Howzer's speech is one of my favorite moments in the show thus far and I was almost sure that Crosshair was gonna kill him. That scene had me on the edge of my seat so I don't understand the reviewer saying that this episode had no stakes. Also that final scene with Crosshair's inner conflict was really interesting. That was one of the best episodes yet.

Had some good moments

Warning: Spoilers
We see more of Hera's backstory and her first flights as a pilot. The clone "uprising" with Howzer was great because we see that all the clones are not mindless robots following orders. This episode didn't have much action scenes and the episodes feel dragged out.

Above and beyond my expectations

This episode was incredible. It tied together so many themes and character arcs, it's hard to just talk about one. I loved more Howzer turning and Omega swaying Hunter to help Hera.

Rescue on Ryloth

Warning: Spoilers
Another great episode! They did a great job continuing this from the last episode. Although they have different titles, they really should have been a Part 1, and 2. After Hera's parents got falsely arrested at the end of the last episode, this episode consists of Hera and Chopper enlisting the help of Omega and The Bad Batch to help break them out of prison. That provided for a series of entertaining events that made this episode as enjoyable as it was.

In this episode you could just feel a climax building up between Crosshair and the rest of The Bad Batch, I can't wait to see what it will be, and I can't wait for the next episode!

Good soldiers follow orders.

Warning: Spoilers
I find it interesting that some of the clonetroopers weren't affected by their inhibitor chips, it may seem like Order 66 didn't really affect ALL of them. Overall, great characters and dialogue. Just your usual good Bad Batch episode. I do have one problem though, it should have more action. I have nothing else to particularly say on this.

8/10.

Best Episode since Episode 9

Warning: Spoilers
The Episode began kind of shaky and slow but it kept the pace up, we got to see a Clone Uprising, I wish that could have been a bit better and dramatic, instead of them just surrendering, they should have went out with a fight.

Boring episode
andreahagen-2428220 July 2021
I don't know, sometimes everything gets so stupidly unreal in the star wars universe, two girls against a whole squad of stupid empire soldiers.

It gets boring to see things like that.

Excellent
pauli_gomez17 July 2021
It continues the previous episode and it makes it very interesting and tied with other shows. I found it very interesting, my only criticism would be that Hunter defers too easily to Omega wishes. But I truly enjoyed this one.

Rescue on Ryloth

Warning: Spoilers
A good episode, not the best but good, I wonder would the series be better if they always stuck to main plot episodes rather than side quests like this? I don't know. Probably not as these side quests are fun and good but compared to main story episodes they are simply incomparable.

Super solid!

Warning: Spoilers
I really dug this two-parter. I legitimately grew to like the twi-lek characters (from both Clone Wars and Rebels) and I found the episode overall to be just tense and just dramatic enough.

I love that sole of the clones clearly don't want to be following orders, even after Order 66. I'm sure that will be more elaborated on in future episodes. This arc set up some potentially emotional, dramatic things for the future of the show. Very pleased with this episode.

Rescue on Ryloth
lassegalsgaard19 July 2021
I didn't review last week's episode because I didn't have a lot to say about it. It felt like the first part of a two-part arc, so I kinda knew that we were going back to Ryloth this week, and it felt more realistic to review both episodes as a big episode. My overall thoughts, though, about last week's episode was that it was fine, but not one of the more interesting episodes. However, with the arc now finished, I know get that there was a lot more brewing, and this episode really felt like it continued to explore the themes I've loved so far.

It felt like a safe bet that we would be going to Ryloth at some point in this show as it has had a frequent role in the animated shows. We're going through all the places that we know and are meeting up with characters that we've met before, and I think the first season is largely going to be exactly that, and that they will move away from this structure if they get to come back. However, with this episode, we got a lot of setpieces that were planted to set up what comes down the road for Cham Syndulla and his role in creating the rebel alliance. However, the main focus of the episode was showing how Hera came into her own, and that was an interesting point of view to take. Her interactions with Omega felt very honest and I liked how they left it all very ambiguous. What the episode did very well that I didn't expect was go into the thoughts of certain clone troopers who don't see eye-to-eye with what the Empire is doing. I like the exploration of consciousness in this show and how they force the clones to deal with their actions during Order 66 and what it has resulted in. The character in this episode was great and I hope that we get to see more of him in the future. If not, I believe they have sparked something that will be apparent throughout the rest of the show and may have an impact on everyone.

"Rescue on Ryloth" is a good end to a two-parter that began a little slow but came to a great conclusion. Showing were certain characters come from is what this show does, and they do it again here to great results, while also planting seeds for what may have become the end of the clones.

Heras and Villains
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic25 May 2022
Continuing on as a second part of the story from the previous episode this part shows the Bad Batch being asked for help by Hera Syndulla.

The episode is not as stunningly besutifully animated as the previous episode but is still high standard and attractive.

The action is decent and the backstory of Hera is of interest to Rebels fans.

A very solid episode.

My rating: 8/10.

Uninteresting and lack of Stakes
garenteen16 July 2021
This was a super hyped episode and it was a huge let down across the board. At least it has the Batch in it. There are no dangerous stakes anymore. How hard is it to have clone wars like stakes where we might see someone die. This is boring.
