Not watched it yet but it didn't exist a couple of weeks ago!!

I've been following John Titor for some time now, the original story of his internet posts from 2004/05 have gone up in smoke as has his motto of his aim of not wanting to be believed.

This film was not available a couple of weeks ago when I was last trawling the net for John Titor info.

It is alleged that there are up to 23 versions of him kicking about, one I saw interviewed on YouTube was 54 years old I think. A bit chubby with white / grey hair and a beard. This one is younger. The only constant is they all start in 2036 and go to 1975.

Last week on Amazon you could only buy one John Titor book 'A time travellers tale' at a cost of £243.00 in paperback. This week it's £627.27 and there are dozens of other books out there. A lot of authors have been really busy in a really short space of time!!

Mandela is in full effect..

Fills the time

Warning: Spoilers
First, I would like to say that I am a time travel enthusiast. I am very interested in the implications of what would happen if time travel were possible. I don't fill my day with time travel, but I am open to things that come my way. Liking time travel as much as I do, made me purchase this film as a blind buy not knowing anything about it. I've heard of John Titor, and was hoping to learn more with this film.

The Positives- This movie brings around the many speculations around time travel, and provides a brief summary of everything that we (the public) know about it.

The Negatives- Mediocre to bad acting. It brings nothing new to the time travel genre. It's also very short. Although the running time comes to 72 minutes, its actually just under 1 hour. There is a bonus feature on the disc that plays extended interviews which is what they be referring to in the running time This movie has a great idea, but is executed poorly. This movie is shot like a documentary, which I thought is an interesting idea, but the poor acting makes it transparent had it been presented as one ( if they hadn't used the actors names during the credit sequence).

I did lend myself over to the bad acting in hopes that a great story would come. It was basic. It does get a bonus about being about time travel. If you are a fan of John Titor or time travel, this movie is worth a watch, if you have free time. Is this the movie that you are going to be showing your friends in order to educate them on time travel or John Titor- probably not. I did enjoy it, but it left me wanting much more.

Trying to cash in on John Titor
ltcjohntitor21 August 2018
This is without a doubt an attempt to just cash in on a name. Time travel does exist. The government does it all the time to preserve the time line. Specifically that part of the time line that is directly linked to the well being of mankind on this planet. Very disappointing film. Fails as a documentary and theatrical representation.
