The conflicting versions of the alleged necrophilia committed by Zeno in the Morgan family mortuary echoes the conflicting versions of the alleged rape and murder committed in the Kurosawa film.
The scene with Zeno (Angel Connell) and the female corpse (Zenobia) draws part of its inspiration from the same kind of scene in Bergman's film which utilized a female corpse (Mona Seilitz) lying in repose within a dream-like mortuary.
The gossiping clerks in "She's So Cold" are dressed in matching dark business suits identical to the dark business suits worn by the "Resevoir Dogs" gangsters gossiping at a diner at the beginning of the film.
