I will never understand for the life of me why George Floyd has been made into a martyr. Yes, what Derek Chauvin did was wrong and completely unacceptable but let's not forget, Floyd was a career criminal and drug addict who broke the law countless times ( in one instance, forcing entry into a pregnant woman's house, assaulting her and holding a gun to her stomach ) and who also had a lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system at the time of his arrest. A model citizen he most certainly was not! He even has had a statue erected in America in his honour. We have now reached the stage where we can honour criminals. Why not erect statues of Jimmy Saville or Fred West while we are at it? Nowadays, people are frightened to open their mouths for fear of upsetting people. I don't care if people take umbrage at my review here, I will not be silenced!
