So mediocre

I guess I understand the lesson they were trying to teach with this episode. The importance of asking for help. But if that's the case, it was executed so poorly. Skarloey is just an idiot the entire time and crashes into everything. What is he supposed to learn? Not to be stupid? It might've been a forgivable episode IF Skarloey had felt very pompous for being picked to pull the train so he feels "too good" to help his friends, making his choice to give Rheneas the puppet show train more rewarding. Or maybe he feels to prideful to ask for help to pull such a big train. Overall, not a good episode.

This sucks

Warning: Spoilers
This is garbage. Skarloey is over 150 years old and in this episode he acts like an idiotic child. The idea of the puppet show train Being heavy is very stupid, the items he is carrying are light enough for a human to handel. The tug of war game was nonsensical, even though Rheneas and Skarloey are technically cousins, they see eachother As brothers so them fighting over a puppet show just breaks continuity. The narration by Michael Angelis in the UK dub is bland due to his lack of inthusiasom and the voices Michael Brandon gives is awful, they Sound like toddlers. Also, what the Hell was Rusty thinking when he stopped in the middle of the Inner section after Skarloey shouting to get out of his Way and the fact the points were conviniently set to the lake. In short this is the worst episode of the narrow gauge engines from this Era.
