The first episode was used to introduce the characters, context and main plot. This second episode brings down the tension. It is less dynamic than the first but remains just as qualitative and intriguing. It is, I believe, more of a transitional episode to refocus the plot directly, develop the two new characters and the interest they will have in the series. It serves at the same time to continue developing the characters presented in the first episode. We always stick to this concept that they're all running away from something. An element of their past, an element of their present or maybe their future.
Nobody seems to want to turn around, but we don't know why yet. Relationships and connections are revealed and are surprising for some characters. We have the impression to face a great game: the characters place their pawns as in a war. It's interesting, some scenes are disturbing in a good way. I remain rather disappointed about the announcement of the trauma of the captain in relation to my family, I think that we should have waited for a few more episodes so that we can continue to wonder about it.
