Easily the best reality show I've ever seen!
jaycisturgell10 May 2021
I don't say this lightly. I've watched a lot of reality shows. None, I mean absolutely none have had me shouting at the TV and thinking about it outside of it being on.

This show makes me do this. I care deeply about people, while also deeply disliking others. I didn't even know what pig showing was and now I feel like I have a good understanding of the sport and why it's so important to these people. Michelle and her mini me monsters (only her daughters, the rest of her team are extremely kind and empathetic) had me constantly gasping and shocked at how low these people will sink to. Nugget on the other hand is a highly intelligent kid who is stuck in the middle of this drama. He is definitely memorable!

Just the right amount of drama, and definitely triggers empathy in me. Incredible show. Just watch it!

When season 2 comes out I am going to savor every moment.

Pig Royalty is the epitome of what a reality series should be!! My family and I have such a good time watching this! We laugh and even cheer for our favorite "Team." I would recommend this series to anyone whom is looking for something wholesome, entertaining and family friendly!

Please give us a season two!!!

It's been a very long time since I was so sucked in to a reality show. Absolutely amazing, I would honestly rewatch episodes with friends. I never knew the world of pig showing was so intense!

Pigs? more like DRAMA!

Pig Royalty is hands down one of the most entertaining reality television series I've ever had the privilege of watching and leaves you HANGING with every Episode.

My family and I love watching mindless reality television and this takes the cake. Exciting and entertaining that has you rooting and shouting for whoever's side you fall on.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good drama that leaves you wanting more.

This is such an interesting show. Love seeing how they care for and train their pigs. The judging is so interesting. I grew up in the country and went to county fairs all my life and never knew the showed pigs this way. I just assumed it was walking them in a circle like other animals! I love the Baleros but it gets frustrating watching the Rihn mother so caught up in teaching her kids if they don't win, it wasn't fair and always someone else's fault. Her people always cry if they lose. Baleros seem to accept it and get ready for the next challenge. It gets annoying how OBSESSED the Rihn's are with what the Balero's are doing but funny how the Balero's don't really give them a second thought, lol they are just in it to win it! I hope Jody gets a clue and can stop obsessing and stay focused on her own family. I'm not a super fan of reality tv but this has hooked me! *also, makes me wanna wear more animal print! Lmao.

Are these 10's from people in the show?

I found pig showing very interesting, I never even knew it existed. The drama not so much! How embarrassing for these two team leaders to be acting the way they do in front of their teams. The daughters on team Bolero are a perfect example of what happens when kids grown up spoiled, so no thank you to those thankless brats. The two daughters on team Rihn were so sweet and kind and watching the one daughter help the momma pig give birth was priceless! Nugget and his mom, I just want to hug them both! I wish this was a mini documentary that skipped the pathetic drama, and left out the the 80's cheetah print girls. I would have given it a 10.

Embarrassing

Pig royalty makes showman look like idiots. I've never heard of any show committee sitting by and allowing so much drama in an association. Pathetic. Makes farmers look stupid. Go to the national western stock show and try "acting" like that. Fools

Shame on A&E to promote such non sense!

Children used as pawns in bitter rivalry
Queenbee6010 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I didn't see season one, but I'm guessing I didn't miss anything.

I found this series interesting, but I hate how both families basically draft their children into the family business and drama.

The young boy on Team Rihn crying because he's under such pressure to win a buckle; when kids his age should be out playing baseball or riding their bikes, instead of spending hours bonding and walking a pig.

We're told that the prize money goes towards the children's education. But we're never told how much they make, or if anybody gets some money for all the long hours and hard work they put in.

None of it seems scripted, which is a plus; but it just seems like much ado about pig strutting and the politics of who's friends with the judge.
