As a part of their documentary, the students interviewed such prominent figures as Dan Rather and Mayor Lyda Ann Thomas, individuals who have lost everything, citizens who resided in the government-provided "Tent City", top Galveston and Houston officials, numerous volunteer recovery workers, residents who rode out the storm the night of September 13th, and the heroic efforts they are making to rebuild our island.
The students have unanimously decided that all profits made from our film will go back to the Galveston Independent School District Educational Foundation.
All of the student filmmakers are committed fifteen to eighteen-year-old teenagers attending Galveston's Ball High School. A Houston newspaper referred to them as a "Gaggle of Nascent Filmmakers".
