  Thunderbolt : [zapping in]  I'm back. You wanted Chinese, I got Chinese.

  Mike Dugan : Zeek, now listen to me...

  Zeek : No, no, no. Don't try to explain. Don't say a word. Just let me take this in.

  Thunderbolt : Jakeem, Mike, other guy, I got egg rolls, pork fried rice, Peking duck; whatever you guys want. Well, you know, they didn't have...

  [flying through Eclipso, he realizes something isn't right] 

  Thunderbolt : Uh-oh.

• Mike Dugan : I can only pilot S.T.R.I.P.E. with my father's supervision, like... like a driver's permit. But by the end of summer, I figure I can be rocking and rolling that baby on my own.

  Jakeem Williams : It all feels like a dream; the Thunderbolt, Eclipso.

  Mike Dugan : Yeah. And look, my sister's got her own JSA thing going on. But maybe you, me, the Thunderbolt could start our own thing.

  Jakeem Williams : Like, form a team?

  Mike Dugan : It's a great idea. What do you say we tell the Thunderbolt to deliver our papers and we can go talk about this over donuts like adults?

  Jakeem Williams : What could go wrong?

  Mike Dugan : [in the distance, a bike flies by in the sky]  What was that?

  Jakeem Williams : I'm sorry. This is all new, you know? There's a big robot. And then, th-th-this space alien god.

  Mike Dugan : I got it under control. So just do me a favor and stop panicking. You're always panicking. And he's a monster, not an alien.
