An amazing episode that gives us an idea about how legendary the next arc will be.

Goddamn, this episode was amazing! Izuku having six more quirks, he gonna be OP in the later arcs! I feel like this is the start of the best arc in MHA!
I only have this 9 stars because of the random flashback in between. I mean, why would you put a flashback in between Izuku's struggle to keep his quirk under control? That just ruins the moment a little. Anyways, great job MHA team!

High on intensity, season 5's best one so far.

While I love this series so much that not every episode can be reviewed, this one just blew my mind enough to convince me enough to write one. It started strongly and only got stronger with every passing minute. It was full of shocking intensity that made me hold my breath, and I never realized when 20 minutes just flew by. I was both satisfied and left waiting for the next episode. A lot of other episodes from this as well as the previous seasons rank among the finest produced, but this one right there is a gem. I will never forget the intensity and adrenaline this episode delivered. Never.
Serviceable but a bit underwhelming.

Warning: Spoilers
- The animation was noticeably lacking compared to the previous episodes this season, from the badly tweened Deku jump, to Blackwhip's animation being too static and neat at points for an uncontrollable wild power exploding out of Deku's arm.
- Lots of flashbacks, they're understandable for the purpose of refreshing anime-onlies and casuals on relevant previous events, but I can't help but feel like the sheer amount was another cut corner this episode.
- Saved by the generous rate of adaptation from the source manga, the impactful events pulled from said manga, and Monoma's team being surprisingly well animated compared to Deku's for whatever reason.
